If you overdid it on your favorite scent you can repair the damage by dabbing a pea-sized amount of unscented hand sanitizer on the area. The high alcohol content of the hand sanitizer will dissolve and neutralize any excess fragrance. If this didn’t do the trick, repeat once more. Don’t irritate your skin by rubbing too hard. If the scent is on your clothing, mist the area with unscented fabric refreshener or plain vodka! These will rid the scent and not damage the fabric.
