Tip of the Day: Avoid Icy Car’s Side Mirrors
If you park outdoors, you know with frigid overnight temperatures the side mirrors of our cars tend to freeze up. You can avoid this by, the night before, slipping a plastic gallon baggie over them and securing with a rubber band. In the morning REMOVE and you won’t have to scrape any ice build up off. If a cold snap catches you off guard, a few drops of rubbing alcohol on the mirrors will do the trick in seconds. Wipe any streaks away.
