The deep freeze of Winter can freeze our home’s exposed pipes. It’s not fun when that happens! To help prevent this, wrap any pipes with a Pool Noodle. I’m sure you still have one around from Summer or else they are usually available at Dollar Stores and especially on Amazon. Slice the noodle lengthwise then wrap around any exposed pipes. Secure with duct tape. The noodle will insulate thus preventing the pipe from bursting. Another trick is to leave the faucet running, just a trickle, at bedtime overnight to keep the water flowing. REMEMBER to remove any drain covers or obstructions so you don’t have a flood!
