Tip of the Day: New Shoes Too Stiff
If that new pair if shoes feels stiff and hard and uncomfortable, slip on a pair of thick socks, put the shoes on, and blast hot hair from a blow dryer on each foot for 10 seconds. Leave the shoes on until they’ve cooled. If they are still too stiff, repeat. This method stretches the leather and molds it to your feet. If you are prone to blisters, rub some Vaseline around your heels and toes to prevent friction.
