When you sweep up the ash from last night’s cozy fire does the soot fly all over the place? Of course it does! Contain this extra mess by emptying a few wet tea bags over the ashes. Let this sit at least 5 minutes. Now sweep. The damp leaves will weigh down the tiny ash particles thus preventing them from scattering!
