Tip of the Day: Dust with a REAL Feather Duster
Genuine ostrich feather dusters have natural oils and soft, filamented feathers that attract and hold dust, which is why professionals often use them. They’re especially good on delicate items, decor, picture frames, blinds, and anything you don’t want to scratch.
Synthetic or faux feather dusters, on the other hand, tend to push dust around because they lack that natural static-like cling. They also don’t glide as gently over fragile surfaces.
If you want an even more effective clean, give your real feather duster a gentle shake outside after each use and rinse it occasionally with mild soap and cool water. Let it air-dry and it will last for years!
