Tip of the Day: Stale Bread?
Here’s another way to revive stale bread: place the unwrapped bread in a paper bag with a few stalks of celery. Seal and let sit overnight. The water-rich celery will release moisture that will get absorbed by the bread. In the morning, the bread will be soft. If you’re in a hurry, wrap your loaf of bread in a moist towel (NOT wet) and warm in the oven for a few minutes so the gentle steam will restore the bread. It will be soft and flavorful.
