Tip of the Day: Tenderize Beef with Tea Bags
If you are cooking a pot roast or even stew, especially in the slow-cooker, first, steep 4-5 tea bags for about 15 minutes. Then, mix the tea (bags removed!!) with an equal amount of beef stock. Add to your recipe and cook as usual. The tea’s tannins will help the beef to melt-into-your mouth!
