Tip of the Day: Thaw Meat Fast!
If you’re already running late and then realize you forgot to thaw the meat for tonight’s dinner, don’t worry! Grab 2 large metal pans. Take the frozen meat out of it’s original packaging and place in a plastic bag; making sure all the air is out before sealing. Turn one pan upside down. Place the frozen meat on top. Fill the other pan with warm water and place on top of the meat almost like making a sandwich. Let sit for about 30-60 minutes depending on the thickness of the meat. Your meat should thaw in record time because the metal of the pans conducts the heat fast.
