Tip of the Day: Oil Spots on Your Driveway? Baking Soda to the Rescue!
If your driveway or garage is marred by oil spots you can remove them with the old kitchen standby: baking soda! Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the soda over the marks and rub in with a wet, hard-bristled broom or brush. Let sit for a little while then rinse off with the hose. The baking soda’s alkalines will break apart the oil particles and scour off any oil drips.
