Did you ever spill cooking oil on your counter or worse yet, the floor! What a slippery, dangerous mess. The way to control this is sprinkling flour over the spill. Leave on for a few minutes while it gets absorbed. Then, wipe off with a paper towel or sponge making sure you get all the residue.
