Since Mother’s Day is tomorrow, I thought a tip on how to add longevity to the cut flower bouquets that many of us will receive. If you drop a small piece of charcoal into a water-filled vase then place the bouquet inside the porous briquette will act as a filter that traps contaminants and will ensure the water stays fresh.
