Tip of the Day: Rid Dishwasher Odors with Baking Soda

If your dishwasher is smelling a little funky, sprinkle one cup of baking soda on the bottom of an empty machine. Run the hot water cycle. This mild alkaline dissolves grease in water so it helps balance the pH levels so the musty smells are gone. If needed, do this once a month to keep your dishwasher smelling fresh.
