You probably didn’t buy hard candy for Halloween as it is unwrapped and not kid’s favorites. But, if you like hard candies that come bagged or tinned you’ll notice they don’t last as long because they absorb humidity causing them to get sticky. Add some sugar to them and place in an air-tight container. The sugar will absorb any excess moisture and fall to the bottom of the container. They’ll be good-tasting like when you first purchased!
