If your pumpkin is carved and ready for the Halloween festivities you can prolong it’s life by spritzing it with a mixture of 1 quart water and 1 teaspoon of bleach. Do this daily. To go one step further spread some Vaseline on all the carved edges. The bleach will inhibit any mold from forming and the Vaseline creates a barrier from the elements.
