Tip of the Day: Less Raking Gives You a Stronger Lawn

It seems strange to say: rake and leaf-blow your lawn LESS but it makes sense. Leaves protect your lawn from freeze burn in the cold Winter weather. Leaves also create a safe environment for the beneficial insects like ladybugs to hibernate. Lastly, as the leaves slowly break down they return nutrients to the soil. So, be a little lazy this Fall!
