If you have a glass stovetop you know it can be hard to clean especially if you have baked-on stains. To clean yours, sprinkle fine table salt on a few potato skins. Let these sit on top of the spotted areas for about 5 minutes. Now, place a damp sponge on top of the skins and scrub quickly. The starch and oxalic acid in the potato peels will have lifted the grime while the gritty salt scrubbed off the stains.
