Tip of the Day: Beer Removes Rust from Hardware

If you have a rusty bucket of bolts, nuts, and screws soak them in beer for 24 hours. Stale beer works very well for this, so save for these purposes! Rinse thoroughly with lots of water. Dry with a microfiber cloth. The carbonic acid in the beer will have dissolved the rust making them look like new!
