Tip of the Day: Keep Mold Away from Block Cheese
Cheese! Mostly everyone loves it! When your favorite block cheese is on sale, you can stock up without worrying it will turn moldy before you can consume it if you soak a paper towel in a mixture of 2 tablespoons of salt and 3 cups of water. Wrap this loosely around the cheese before refrigerating. The dehydrating salt will inhibit microbial growth.
