Tip of the Day: Boil Sprouts Before Adding to Salads

Sprouts, while they are a tasty addition to a salad, are susceptible to bacteria during humid conditions making them a prime cause for E. coli and salmonella. To be safe, boil sprouts 5-10 minutes to destroy the bad bacteria. This will also make them easier to digest so you’ll absorb the most nutrients!
