Tip of the Day: Freeze Berries Perfectly!
It’s almost harvest time and your berry crop is more abundant than you thought. Save those berries for a Winter day by freezing them. Ideally, to freeze berries would be in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Can you fit a cookie sheet in your freezer? I can’t! Instead use ice cube trays. Place each berry into the well of the tray (works great for strawberries!) or a few in each well of small berries. These can even be stacked until they freeze. When frozen, you can transfer to more manageable zip-top bags to place in your freeze.
