Tip of the Day: Stop Hiccups Quickly
We all get them: hiccups! They can be annoying and also debilitating. (Once my father had hiccups for 13 days and nights straight!!! But that’s a story for another day!) If you should get a case of the hiccups, in a sitting position, try pulling your knees up to your chest then lean forward into your knees slightly and hold for one minute. This position compresses the diaphragm to help stop the hiccup-causing spasms. Relief!
