Tip of the Day: Flat Beer Turns Grass Green

This holiday or Summer, gather and set aside all those unfinished cans of beer. Combine them in a watering can. Let them sit until flat. Pour this over any yellowing patches of grass on your lawn. The natural acids in the beer kill the fungus that causes these spots while the fermented sugar content feeds the grass and stimulates new growth.
