If you are bothered by ants invading your home’s interior, rid them with a solution of equal amounts of Borax and sugar in a covered plastic bowl. Pierce the lid with lots of holes and place where you see the ants. They will not be killed on contact and also this may attract more ants BUT the end result is that the ants take this mixture back to their nest thus eliminating the colony once and for all.
