If your cell phone is out of your reach you can still call 911 if you activate the phone’s voice-activated assistant. This is available on both iPhones and androids in your settings. In iPhones search for Siri & Search and make sure Listen for Hey Siri is on. Then, in an emergency all you have to do is say Hey Siri call 911. For an android, make sure OK Google is turned on. For an emergency, say OK Google call 911. If, perish the thought, you are ever in a situation where you can’t speak up, press the sleep/wake button 5 times to call 911. These settings may save your life so try to learn them.
