Sinks harbor bacteria! It has been said they have more germs than our toilets (UGH!). To sanitize and even kill E.coli sprinkle some baking soda in yours. Wipe with a damp sponge and dish soap. Rinse off. The grittiness of the baking soda scrubs off any bacteria-forming bits of food. It also creates an alkaline environment the will neutralize disease-causing germs.
