If you want your towels soft and fluffy, like they were when they were new, add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to your laundry’s rinse cycle or to the fabric softener tray instead of liquid softener. Liquid softeners contain oils that make the fabric of your towels less absorbent. The vinegar will break down this buildup and you’ll have cozy towels once again.
