Tip of the Day: Stop Drafts Save On Heating Bills
If you feel a chilly breeze seeping in under your doors and windows you can stop your well paid heat from flying outside and maybe even save yourself from raising the heat’s temperature with a few of these tricks: roll some towels lengthwise as tight as possible; secure with cord or tape and place where ever you feel drafts coming in. You can also fill tube socks with packing peanuts, secure and place on windowsills and other draft emitting areas. And lastly, set a few water-filled Mason jars in a row along windowsills. The water will absorb heat from the sun’s rays that will provide another layer of insulation!
