If you get splatters of your favorite recipes all over your counter tops and walls when you use your mixer, you can avoid the extra effort of cleaning this mess by slipping a sheet of wax paper (a few inches longer on both sides of the mixing bowl) over the bowl. Now, poke the beaters through the paper and mix as usual. The wax paper will act as a splatter guard keeping the batter where it belongs inside the bowl!
