Tip of the Day: Potatoes Erase Food Stains from Your Skin
If making holiday cookies or treats, with all those colorful icings and fillings, stain your fingers and hands grab a potato! Cut a raw potato in half and rub the flesh over the stains. The catecholase in the spud is a lightening enzyme that will break down berry and other dyes. Finish by rinsing off with cool water.
