Tip of the Day: Wooden Cutting Board Care
If you just purchased a wooden cutting board to help in all your holiday cooking, keep it crack-free so bacteria can’t slip in and cause odors as well as health issues. The easiest way to do this is by rubbing mineral oil, just a dab, over the surface after washing. Always use a soft cloth. Let this sit for 2 hours then wipe off any excess. Doing this every 2 months will keep your board safe and looking like new.
