Tip of the Day: Broiler Smoky?

If you cook steaks or any other greasy food in the broiler, you know the drippings cause smoke, or worse, flare ups. You can avoid this by lining the bottom of the drip pan with slices of stale bread (underneath the rack). The absorbent bread catches any fatty juices so you shouldn’t have any smoke.
