Tip of the Day: Leftover Cranberry Sauce?

If you have cranberry sauce leftover from Thanksgiving, you can keep it bacteria-free and fresh longer by sprinkling a pinch of cayenne pepper in to it. This age-old natural preservative will keep your condiment fresh and tasty for weeks. If you don’t like the spice, add a thin layer of honey on top to do the trick!
