Tip of the Day: Pumpkin Pie Baking Without the Mess!
You love your pumpkin pie recipe but it can be very sloppy trying to pour the filling into the crust then getting this sloshy dessert into the oven without some spills. Make it an easier transport by mixing the filling into a blender-type bowl with a spout and handle. Place the empty pie shell into the oven. Pull the oven rack out, carefully, so you’ll be able to pour the filling from the bowl into the crust. Again carefully, push the oven rack back into it’s place and bake! No spills!
