Tip of the Day: Avoid Splatter When Mixing Cake Batter

If you use an electric mixer you know cake batter splatters! To prevent this mess, poke 2 holes in a paper plate equal distance to the beaters. Slide the beaters into these holes, attach them to the unit and push the plate to the top of the unit. The plate will now shield any stray splatters from hitting your countertop.
