Tip of the Day: Easy Tenderizer for Tough Meat
If you have a cheaper cut of roast or steak but still want a delicious meal, tenderizer it with a mixture of 2 cups of apple cider vinegar, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of sea salt, and 1-2 tablespoons of chopped garlic. Marinate the meat (a plastic Ziploc bag works and there’s no clean up after!) for 3 hours in the refrigerator. Then cook as usual. The vinegar will have broken down the tough meat fibers for a tasty meal.
