If your trusty old baseball mitt is a little stiff (like it’s owner!!) here’s how to fix it: using a clean cloth rub shaving cream (non-gel) into the center of the glove until completely coated. Place a baseball inside, then use a rubber band or two or three to hold the glove closed around theĀ  ball. Leave overnight. In the morning wipe away any excess cream. The lanolin in the shaving cream will have softened the leather and allowed the ball to have reshaped the mitt for a more flexible hold.
