Tip of the Day: Vaseline Stops Cuts from Bleeding
If you are chopping onions or other veggies and you nick your finger it can become a bloody mess. After cleaning your wound, dab some Vaseline onto the area with a Q-tip. The waxy substance will seal the cut and block the blood flow so you can continue your preparation with or without a band-aid.
