If you have an odor in your dishwasher, you can rid it with a monthly rinse using white vinegar. Simply place a small bowl filled with the vinegar on the top rack of an empty dishwasher. Run a full cycle on the highest temperature. If you still smell a musty odor, sprinkle one cup of baking soda on the bottom of the dishwasher and run an second empty cycle. This should do the trick!
