Tip of the Day: Hydrogen Peroxide Lifts Wine Stains

If you spill red wine on your white shirt don’t fret! Make a mixture of equal parts hydrogen peroxide and water and pour directly on the stain. Let this sit for half an hour, then launder as usual. Unlike bleach, that can turn whites yellow or grey, peroxide reacts to the wine to break down the stain without damage to the fabric.
