If you have a brush with poison ivy (let’s hope not!) if you wash the area with dish detergent within ONE hour of contact you will prevent a rash from forming by 56%. According to the University of Missouri researchers the grease-fighting agents will deactivate the urushiol oil in poison ivy before an outbreak can be triggered!
