Tip of the Day: Sugar Kills Bacteria on Boo Boos
The next time you get a cut (hopefully not) sprinkle some white sugar on it before covering it with a band-aid. This, according to the Washington State University scientists, will kill bacteria and heal as effectively as an anti-biotic cream because the sugar will soak up the moisture that bacteria needs to survive!
