Tip of the Day: Rusty Firepit? White Vinegar To The Rescue!

Posted on : 24-05-2022 | By : georginesaves | In : Tip of the day

White vinegar is the go-to remedy for a rusty firepit. The exposure to year-round elements can cause this. Here’s a non-scrubbing method: dampen a cloth with white vinegar, then rub down all the rusty areas. Let sit for 10 minutes, then rinse off with the hose and wipe clean. The vinegar is acidic so it will eat through the rust without harming the metal.
