Tip of the Day: Beer Revives Brown & Yellow Grass

If you can spare a can of beer, mix it with a gallon of water in a watering can. Sprinkle yellow and brown grass with just enough to wet it. The brew’s fermented sugars will nourish the grass and the bacteria in the soil that promotes growth. The acids in the beer will kill fungus that causes the discoloration.
