Tip of the Day: Unclog Drains Without Chemicals

If you have a clogged drain, before you call the plumber or add chemicals to fix it, try mixing 2 tablespoons of salt with 2 cups of seltzer. Pour down the drain and wait about 1 minute before flushing with the hottest tap water for about 10 seconds. This combo of abrasive salt and fizzy seltzer will dissolve the blockage.
