If you are spiffing your home up for the holidays, and shining copper pots and décor are on your list, save money by making your own polish. Mix 1/4 cup of salt, 1/4 cup of flour, and enough white vinegar to make a thick paste. Rub this on to your copper vessels with a soft cloth, buff, then rinse. This floury paste allows the vinegar’s acids to breakdown the tarnish while the salt scours it away!
