If you are lucky enough to have a fireplace, but find lighting the fire challenging, try filling an empty glass jar with some rubbing alcohol. Now add in a few wine corks. Seal and store AWAY from the fireplace. When your mood strikes to light a fire, toss in a cork underneath the kindling and light. The alcohol-soaked cork will catch fire easily and ignite the wood. You’ll be warm and cozy quickly!
