Tip of the Day: Frozen Windshield Wipers?
If you park your car outdoors in Winter your windshield wipers will freeze at some point. When they won’t budge, DO NOT pull and tug! You can damage them. Instead, spritz them with a mixture of 1 part water, 3 parts rubbing alcohol (most of us have this on hand since COVID), and a few drops of liquid dish soap. The alcohol melts the ice while the dish soap contains freeze-resistant properties that will prevent future ice from forming. This solution will not damage the blades or the wiper motor.
