Typically Sunday is a VERY busy day to shop. So, if possible avoid going to the supermarket on that day. Choose mid-week preferably in the morning to avoid the crowds. Transporting groceries into the house can also be a hassle. If you can keep an empty laundry basket in the trunk, you can load several bags into it so you make less trips!
