Tip of the Day: Longer Lasting Scallions
As you may know if you buy scallions, they come in a bunch. Most times we only need one or two for our recipe and more than likely, the rest of the bunch goes to waste. You can keep that bunch fresh for months if you clean, dry, and chop them and store in a clean water bottle placed in the freezer. The screw top will create an airtight seal and with the small opening you can pour out just what you need and return the bottle to the freezer!
